Love (part 2)

Love is so confusing. And sometimes it can just sweep you up off of your feet and suddenly your floating. That floating can last for years or for but a day, but it makes you feel whole.
And if it leaves, you feel like you can never be the same without it. You are usually torn apart, in a horrible condition, and ridicule yourself. And then you sit and mope in 'could-a, should-a, would-a' land. And if you even hear the voice of your love, everything can temporarly be better, except that ends very soon, very very soon.
But if it lasts, it is the most wonderful thing ever. You live on a cloud. You live on air. You feel so great. You feel like magic. A surged energy pulses through your veins, you are up all night thinking about the one you love, you are happy, you are hyper, you are YOU at your best.

But even it if lasts, we, as humanity, are suspicious of a good thing and worry and feel pain of could-be loss until a certian point.

Well, at least, that is what we think feeling love is like.

But isn't it also the total ability to be overcome by emotions, but never do anything because it may upset the other. Love is the ability to kill youself for them, to jump infront of the bus for someone. And to stay to yourself and to reserve for the other, but never be upfront. Not to sabatoge them in a relationship for yourself, but rather help them out, be there for them. And then, if, and only if, one day they want you, you would totally be theirs.

Hmm.. .That's how I feel about love. I don't know how you feel. It's quite confusing after all.

Parents

They are our saviors
Our gaurdians
they give us limits
and direct our path

But they also hold us back
Create cursed missed oppertunities
and some of their limits
Are just too limiting
And they can ruin something
That just started becoming good

They can destroy a frienship
And create a fight
And make everything simply not right

Parents, they can hurt
And mock
And lack love
And treat you like a dog

Or they can love
And care
And be tender
And sometimes, through it all, we have to know that they really are there.

Hmm.... Sorry. Just a reflection.

Another rad band: Lifehouse (unless I already said that)

Love

It is such an intresting topic. I mean, love is a word used very liberally (too liberally, if you ask me ((which, of course, you are because this is my blog))). What is love? Is it a state of mind? An emotion? A comboniation? Or just simply a silly little word to describe how a population felt for eachother that was stronger than a feeling of mutual aqueantinceship?

But love, above all things, is the only way to flush out some of the hate in the world. Love is the food that stops us from starving and the light that shows where to go from here. It is 'like oxygen, it lifts us up where we belong, all you need is love'. Love can save a life, it can start a passion, and feed a fire that can give warmth to millions.

Then again, love leads to pain, rejection, surrender, sacrifice, and vuanerability. All of these things we are told to believe are weaknesses, and brain-washed into thinking that they are bad. And just as well as love can save a life, it can end one, as well.

Hmm... Love is such an intresting thing.

Music

Do you believe that music is a portal to the soul? Or simply just some pretty little words with a pretty little tune written by a pretty little person who pretends to be something they are not?

Maybe it is both.

Isn't that true of everything, though. That we are all a pretty little mask hiding our true souls. Nothing can leak out.

Oh to be human.

Feeling in the blogging mood

Hello to all. I am very bored, so I decided to post again. I have some questions for the general public (and would be intersted for you to respond).

Is it better to believe what everyone says?
Do you believe the media is pessimistic? Do you believe that they should be that way?
Why is there hate instilled in the veins of the world, and why are we a vein that contuinouslly pumps it?

I'd be intrested if someone replied.

An introduction

If you have yet to read my about me, I highly suggest it. I am just your average girl with a voice that she decides she wants to be heard. That is really all, and this bolg is my version of a modern-bohemian (it's really not, I just love the word bohemian) way to express myself.
Tis all.

Allegory of the modern world

Ok, assume we could pause the standings in America right now (politically), and make transform it to the scale of the world. I believe that, in all truth, our politicians could represent some very prominent nations in the international feuds.

To be frank, America would be George W. Bush. China and the Middle East would be Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, and Europe would be John McCain.

Here is my backup:
America is always commented on as the 'stupid' country (as a reflection of the television shows and pop cuture). Most people see us as lazy and fat. Americans are hated and ridiculed and usually commented to as to having been 'on top too long'.

China was the perfect model with no faults. The plan seemed flawless (much to America's dismay). But then little tid bits of unpleasant informaiton slip through the cracks. Some people ridicule China and, although it is still gaining power, the edges are starting to fray. It became the superpower with false promises displayed and different plans behind it's censored walls.

The Middle East was, from the beginning, shot down and ridiculed. Many people have biases (idioc ones at that) towards it from the negative media that the world feeds on. Also, it has one main plan (and a few side notes that are a little ludicrious), but in the end all it is is something to be dealt with.

Finally, Europe is gaining power, but you never see it all over the news (it is only occasionally mentioned). It has no agressors in its catagorey and goes virtually un-opposed save for the other
aformentioned 'countries' that create a thorn in its side.

Another after thought is that you see The ME and China plastered in every situation that they can be stuck into, just as Hilary and Obama are.

Just an opinion, feel free to comment.
